Essential Oils for boosting your energy, mood, motivation and focus!
Energy, focus, clarity and motivation!
We ALL want these things! But how do we get them?
First of all, if you are concerned please seek medical attention in the first instance. It is better to be sure before you 'assume' anything about your state of health. Always seek a medical opinion first!
There are many ways to gain more energy - eating well and at the right times, getting enough sleep, enough water consumption and stressing less. We all know these things are the best for us.
There is also mindset. I find when I tell myself I am tired over and over again. Guess what happens? I feel tired! Your body will respond to what your brain is telling it, so choose your words carefully.
I was a flight attendant for 10 years, and 50% of my shifts were night flights. Yes, it was hard! I was either up all night working OR getting up at 2am, 3am, 4am, you name it, to start work. BUT, I coped really well because I wouldn't continually remind myself of what time it was and how tired I was. Other crew members would comment to me all the time 'why are you so awake?! How are you not tired?'. The truth was, I was, I just wouldn't allow it to take over my mind and body.
A friend of mine just got back from India where she went home to visit family for 6 weeks. She was so jet-lagged when she got back, as was her husband. But her 2-year-old son wasn't affected at all. Why? Because he knew no different! He wasn't telling himself "oh it's really 2 am back home, I should be asleep'. So mindset does really play a big part in this.
Of course, if I am genuinely tired or in need of a rest, I will take it. BUT, what I don't do is continually think about being tired. It really will make a difference to your energy levels!
Mediation is another way.
Get motivated by visualising how it will feel when you achieve a personal goal, but also get prepared for all the steps and effort required in making it a reality. Remember that the journey itself is just as important as the outcome!
Although the act of meditation might seem like a passive action, it's a truly practical way of breaking procrastination and generating a motivational spark that inspires you to accomplish any task of your choosing.
If you're feeling tired or discouraged about completing a task, you’ve probably wasted a lot of time and mental energy dwelling on it. The easiest first step to breaking this deadlock is to make a little time for yourself to relax, meditate and prepare your thoughts for the task ahead. Go do it… the challenge is just in your mind!
Essential Oils are one of my favourite resources to use. They offer a great top up or tool to your existing health resources.
Essential Oils are concentrated compounds extracted from plants through steam or water distillation, or mechanical methods, such as cold pressing. Essential oils are most commonly used in the practice of aromatherapy. They’re typically either inhaled or diluted and applied to the skin.
There are close to 100 commonly used Essential Oils, each associated with certain health claims, including focus, motivation, and energy enhancement.
Keep reading to learn which oils you can use to help decrease fatigue and boost your energy levels, motivation, and focus.

Discuss this with a doctor, along with other ways to address your low-energy moments. They can recommend other lifestyle choices such as diet, sleep, and exercise to keep your energy levels high. They can also make sure your fatigue isn’t a sign of something more serious.
